MOODENG

Moo Deng (MOODENG) is a meme token on the Solana network that follows the standard Solana Program Library (SPL) token architecture. The token was launched in September 2024 through the Pump.fun launchpad and takes its name and branding from a baby pygmy hippopotamus at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand. It operates as an unofficial community-run token with no formal partnership or affiliation with the zoo or the animal. MOODENG was deployed through a fair-launch bonding curve model without a presale or team token allocation, and its liquidity subsequently migrated to the Raydium decentralized exchange. The token has a fixed supply of approximately 990 million tokens, with both mint and freeze authorities disabled to prevent additional token creation or account restrictions. The smart contract charges zero transaction taxes and provides no native staking, revenue sharing, or on-chain governance features. Holders store MOODENG in non-custodial Solana wallets and execute peer-to-peer transfers or swaps across decentralized liquidity venues and centralized exchanges.
